Recorded with GRAMMY-winning steel guitarist and producer Steve Fishell (Mavis Staples, John Prine) in Nashville, Stella Prince’s debut EP, Dear Future Me, was released and reached #1 on Folk Radio in Summer 2024, becoming the #1 Most Downloaded record across ALL GENRES (the only folk album, solo female artist, and only independent release to do so.) It has been named by No Depression as one of the “Best Albums of 2024”.
In September 2025, Stella’s reimagined version of the 1970 Carpenters classic hit song “Close to You” was featured in the original Hallmark Channel film, “Adventures in Love and Birding.” Produced by Scott Effman and recorded in Laurel Canyon, CA, she released it to all platforms September 26th, ahead of the September 27th film premiere.
